 We’re a cosy wayside inn - albeit with an added touch of class.

We can offer you a traditional, welcoming country pub with stone walls, a roaring log fire, a vast selection of malt whiskies, spirits,real ales and ice cold beers .

We serve bar lunches and evening meals all year round and our food is locally produced and freshly cooked in the kitchens by our helpful and friendly staff under the eye of our head chef John. 

We also refurbished the restaurant and have a new fresh menu .

There are five bedrooms, including 2 four poster suites, all of which have been individually designed with your total comfort in mind.

There’s a host of activities on the doorstep ranging from golf, fishing, and hiking to other, more restful pursuits. And we make an ideal base for exploring other parts of Scotland and the North of England - the perfect haven to return to after a day’s excursion.
